Hi!  My name is Melissa, aka Coach Liss.

I am a full-time working wife and mother to two boys:10,8 and a 3 year old little princess.  That sentence along is enough to keep me busy for a lifetime, or at least the next 17 years!

My HERBALIFE journey started as a mom with three children, a year post third c-section and still wearing maternity work pants.  I was tired all the time.  I had horrible sleep patterns and even worse eating habits.  That all changed with my friend and now mentor and coach Patty.

Patty had been doing this "shaking" thing since November 2013 and was having awesome results and was trying (daily) to get me to just try this nutrition plan.  I told her I couldn't focus on anything but the upcoming holidays, so hit me up in January.  Well January 1, 2015 she called.  After eating everything I saw in the last two months, I had finally had enough.  I was 213 pounds and a tight size 20 pant.  This was not acceptable to me, ANY LONGER!

So I told her I would give her 110% for a full month.  That was it.  We would re-evaluate the second week in February.  My first shipment was on my door step on Wednesday January 7th.  I started my first shake and new life on Thursday.  No waiting until Monday.  No last meals.  No packing on three pounds in that weekend to start a new lifestyle on Monday.

I was in this to see what this new nutrition plan could do.  Honestly, I was beyond curious to see what I could do.  I wanted, no I needed, to be better.  To feel better.  Feeling unhealthy was effecting every aspect of my life.  It was a viscous circle.  I hated how I looked.  I hated the way my fat exploded out of the top of my too tight pants, but yet I would hit a drive thru on the way home and hate myself for the rest of the night.

Four weeks.  That is all it took.  I had lost 16 pounds.  This was the easiest nutrition plan I had ever attempted.  It was fast.  It was filling, and it was simple.

So where did coaching come in?  I had no intention, actually I was against it.  I was "busy enough" with all my family obligations.  Though, I had sent ten clients to my own coach.  They were now loving their nutrition plans.  So why not give it a shot and see what I can get for a discount on my products I was already loving?  Make some extra cash for my family on top of it? Bonus.

So here I am.  A year and 1/2 later. - 53 pounds later.  4 pant sizes down. I am not done yet.  There is so much more I can accomplish.  Now I have a solid client base.  I have a team of 12+ (growing everyday) coaches who had no experience in wellness and nutrition, just as I didn't.  But we have attended every training available to us and have learned.  We love our jobs.  We love helping others.  We have found a nutrition plan and want to scream it from the roof tops!
